About Us

“I love when people who have been through hell walk out of the fire with buckets of water for those still consumed by the flames.”

Men’s Alliance NI is a peer support group dedicated to supporting and believing in male victims and survivors of Domestic Abuse. Initially established as a Facebook Support Group in 2018 a Charity has now been established and we are moving into the physical world, building a range of services second to none, and uniquely for Northern Ireland run by those with Lived Experiences, who have been there and understand.

You will be believed.
You will be supported.

For years Male Domestic Abuse has had a stigma attached, and Men’s Alliance are working to remove this misunderstanding and build a network of support for men across Northern Ireland.

From our Facebook MANi Support Group Northern Ireland members:

Kieran – Belfast
“You don’t have to go through this alone, there are men here who know your pain and suffering as they have walked or are walking your path.”

Joe – Ballycastle
“I’m finally finding answers that explain in simple words which I couldn’t find myself to describe the drip feed of extreme emotional abuse I lived for 36 years and the manipulation of my children’s minds to alienate my children from me.”

Paul – Ballymena
“Given me a realisation I’m not the only one.”

Steven – Carrickfergus
“I was literally at the point of giving up, on everything, but reading the stories and comments here have helped boost my hope that things will work out. Even if its years from now.”
