Volunteer

Men’s Alliance is a charity, and as such we are always on the lookout for Volunteer helpers, in many different areas:

Counsellors

We offer counselling services to men in need as victims of domestic abuse, please let us know if you would have a few hours of counselling time per week that you would like to donate. All volunteer Counsellors will will be members of BACP or similar oversight body and have an Advanced Diploma in counselling, or DipHE (level 5), or will be in the second year of working towards this.

A number of areas of general support are available, these are not advisor positions rather working with victims and survivors just to give them a little extra support, eg in court, visiting a Solicitor, making statements to the police or needing a lift for a counselling session.

All Support Workers will be cleared through Access NI Security clearance.
